Edwin Nealley (Ernest Dummkopf)
|
Ed fell in love with performance (and with Gilbert &
Sullivan) while singing at the University of
Pennsylvania in the Penn Glee Club and The Penn
Singers with Bruce Montgomery.
Last December he played the Counsel in Trial by Jury for G. & S. Society of Chester Cty., at the courthouse. This will be his first (but hopefully not final) production of The Grand Duke. Ed performs with many local theater groups, including Rose Valley Chorus and Orch., The Christmas Revels, Gilbert & Sullivan Players, The Ardensingers and Thespis Etc. Recent roles for other companies include Archibald Grosvenor (Patience) for Rose Valley and King Paramount (Utopia Ltd.) for Arden. His wife, Katherine, directed Trial by Jury for Chester Cty. in December 2004. They have one daughter, Sara, who joined him on stage in Trial by Jury as the Flower Girl. When not performing, Ed is a System Administrator and Data Analyst for supplyFORCE in King of Prussia. |
